Please refer to the user manual included in the box with your specific watch. As watches have various functions, they each have their own unique instruction booklets.
Even though the brand guarantee does not cover the battery, Shopavenue by Luxco Importers will cover your battery for the first 6 months. Should your watch stop working, please send your watch to our workshop for a complimentary battery change and mini service. Kindly include your guarantee card / proof of purchase with your watch. We request that you fill in the repair form and send your watch to us at the following address:

We will return your watch to the specified address on the repair form via RAM couriers
Although a watch may be rated 30m water resistant, it does not mean that a watch can be immersed to that depth. The depth rating posted by watch manufacturers are theoretical.
Please refer to your instruction booklet for exact guidelines on water resistance. As a general rule:
30M / 3 ATM / 3 BAR | Avoid direct contact with water. | |
50M / 5 ATM / 5 BAR | Can be worn with contact to water, such as washing your hands and rain. | |
100M / 10 ATM/ 10 BAR | Can be worn while swimming, snorkelling and showering. Recommended not under hot water. | |
200M / 20 ATM / 20 BAR | Can be worn in basic diving where the dive does not exceed a 40m depth. |
Kindly take note that all seals on models of 100M or more should be checked annually, before being exposed to water. Water Resistance is based on cold water in its liquid form and not steam (i.e. from showering). Please ensure that all crowns are closed before exposing to any water. In hot weather, please ensure that the watch is cooled down before submersing in water as this can affect the seals on the watch.

When purchasing from the Shopavenue, your watch is backed by the specific brand international guarantee. The period of the guarantee varies for each brand. Please refer to the table listed below.

The guarantee covers all material and manufacturing defects revealed in the course of normal use and on condition that the watch has not been opened. Your official guarantee will be filled out and accompany your purchase.

Please send your watch to Shopavenue by Luxco Importers for an assessment and quote, which needs to be approved before the repair is done. This repair will be charged for as it is not covered by the guarantee.

Shopavenue by Luxco Importers has a full-service centre that caters for all the brands listed on our site. Our technicians have undergone training to cater for majority of the various brands repair work. Delays in service or repairs may be due to availability of spare parts or highly technical issues (mainly related to Garmin and Casio).

We do offer a once off watch sizing service on your size estimate. There are two methods in which you can measure your wrist.
- Using a tape Measure, place the tape measure around your wrist allowing any extra room for movement. If you prefer to wear your watch tight to your wrist then wrap the tape measure as tightly as you would want to wear it. You can provide us with the measurement in cm.
- Cut a long ribbon of paper and wrap it round your wrist. Secure it with sellotape and cut off any remainder. When you are happy that the paper bracelet feels comfortable, cut it off with a pair of scissors. Now you can measure the length of the paper bracelet with a ruler in cm. You can provide us with the measurement to the closest cm.
Once you are happy with your measurement you can input it into the order notes located upon checkout.
Should your watch be too small to fit on your wrist, we will offer you the following:
- 3 additional links on a bracelet model.
- An extra length strap
Please note: the above service is dependent on availability from the various watch manufacturers. This will be communicated to you.
Should your watch need to have links removed to make it a smaller size, the additional links will be returned to you.

Shopavenue’s couriers (currently Ram couriers) will deliver to your door free of charge for orders over R1000 within South Africa. A nominal delivery fee is charged on orders under R1000.
Please note: If our hand to hand couriers are not able to deliver the parcel to an individual who can sign for the parcel at your specified address within three attempts, you will be liable to cover the delivery cost.
In order to make your shopping experience more convenient and efficient we will aim to have your purchase at your door within two to five working days from Shopavenue receiving your payment. This time frame excludes week-ends and public holidays.
Please supply us with a physical delivery address and contact number as our courier will require your signature upon receipt of your delivery. It’s for this reason that we do not deliver to PO Box/postal addresses.
