Rotary Watches Limited is an award-winning worldwide brand of classic timepieces. The firm was founded in 1895 by Moise Dreyfuss in the Swiss town of La Chaux de Fonds. 

The founder, Moise Dreyfuss was dedicated to creating beautiful watches with timeless elegance. His attention to detail and insistence on first class personal service ensured the business grew quickly. Within 12 years of the founding of the company success led to the opening of a UK office. London is now the official headquarters of Rotary watches.

In 1925 the now famous winged Rotary logo was introduced and after the war, under the leadership of Teddy Dreyfuss, the brand developed further, with innovative watches, sophisticated marketing and powerful advertising campaigns.

Rotary timepieces are now sold in over 65 countries throughout the world. Rotary specializes in designing affordably stylish timepieces, blending the ‘old with the new’ and the ‘contemporary with the classic’ to achieve a distinctive range of watches.

1895

It was in 1895 that Moise Dreyfuss opened his factory in the Swiss town of La Chaux de Fonds. Demand for good value, quality merchandise ensured the business grew quickly.

1920s

Within twelve years, Georges and Sylvain Dreyfuss opened an office in Britain to import the family watches. The company continued to grow, and in 1925 they introduced the now-famous Rotary logo, the ‘winged wheel’.

1940

Rotary appointed official watch supplier to the British Army.

1976

Rotary sponsor British Racing Motors in the F1.

2015

Rotary sponsor Chelsea FC as they win the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League under Jose Mourinho.
